This is a reminder that the deadline to submit your library\x92s Summer Reading Program statistics is October 9, 2009.

If you, or a member of your library\x92s youth services staff have not already done so, please take a moment and do it now by going to the summer reading website http://njsummerreading.org/ and completing the survey. There is also a preview of the survey questions on the website.

This is a mandatory survey and it is vitally important for the State Library to collect these statistics if funding for the statewide program is to continue. Please be aware that if libraries do not submit their statistics they will not be eligible to receive the posters, banner and bookmarks the Summer Reading Committee provides to each library each year.

Since NJ is a member of the nationwide Collaborative Summer Library Program, the artwork/graphics/logos, including the images from the manual and CD, whether printed or electronic, are under copyright. The Collaborative\x92s Rules of Use require that all artwork/images/logos used from the 2009 summer reading program be removed from your library\x92s website by October 1, 2009.
