Since the H1N1 virus is much in the news these days, the New Jersey State Library is sharing some recent links to updated information. Many thanks to our colleagues Michelle M. Volesko Brewer of the NJ Hospital Association and MaryK Joyce of the Health Sciences Library Association of NJ for forwarding a wealth of information on this topic. Additionally, Karen Hyman of the South Jersey Regional Library Cooperative forwarded an email from Ebsco regarding resources they are making freely available during the upcoming flu season.

National resources:
The best "one stop shop" for flu information is www.flu.gov. The site is available in English, Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese; includes information both for individuals and families as well as professionals (businesses, schools, local and state governments, hospitals); gives you state level data and additional informational links for each state; and has a regularly updated FAQ section.
Library specific resources:
The only site available at the moment is at http://wikis.ala.org/professionaltips/index.php/Pandemic_Planning, which is compiled by the ALA Librarian, Karen Muller. There is a section on "topics to include in an individual library policy".
Ebsco resource:
Per Marcie Brown, Technical Communications Manager for Ebsco Publishing:

Please visit this site often and feel free to share, post, and email this link to your colleagues, patrons, family and friends."
