I’m replying to the list because this question might be one that others are interested in as well. No, your library doesn’t have to get a group of 15 together. The date that the tour is offered depends on getting that many people together so you will have to check with the Meadowlands to make sure the date your library customers want to go has enough people already signed up.  I don’t think the tickets have a deadline for when they need to be used but I will check with the Meadowlands first just to make sure and post when I receive their answer.

Hi, guys! 

I recently received my vouchers for the Meadowlands Experience Tour.  I'm very excited to give these away.  I did have a few questions, though:

Just to be clear- the winner doesn't have to get a group of 15 together, they just have to call Donna to be part of an already formed group?  That may sound silly, but I wanted to make sure to avoid any disappointments.  Also, is there any time that the tickets have to be used by?  We just re-opened after a long renovation and will be having our grand re-opening in November, so I may use them either then or during the holiday time.

The NJ Summer Reading Committee is pleased to announce the final ticket

voucher raffle made possible through our collaboration with the  New

Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority (NJSEA).  It will be for pairs of

vouchers to The Meadowlands Experience Tour, for pairs of vouchers to

Disney on Ice at the Izod Center, or pairs of vouchers 2009-2010 New

Jersey Nets regular season home games.

later than Monday, August 31, 2009 .  One entry is permitted per library

building. The subject line should be which raffle you wish to enter (The

Meadowlands Experience Tour,Disney on Ice, or New Jersey Nets).  Your

email MUST include the following:

            Your name/title

            Your library's name

            Your library's address and phone number

            Your email contact information

An attached digital photograph of a Summer Reading event at your library

for the Summer Reading Flickr page.  This could include sign-up

activities, storytimes, performances, etc.  Please be sure you have the

necessary permissions for the photos to be posted on the Internet.

If your library has entered for one of the previous raffles, you may enter

again, however you must submit a new photograph. Winners will be notified

via email.  If these vouchers don't appeal to you, stay tuned for the next

event vouchers to be offered. More events will be coming soon!
