I\x92m Sharon Rawlins, Youth Services Consultant at the NJ State Library and the project manager for the Statewide Summer Reading Program.

I\x92m surveying all the public libraries in NJ using Survey Monkey to see if your library wants the 2010 Teen Summer Reading Poster. Some of the teen librarians

do not like the illustration and don\x92t want to use it. Since the summer reading committee\x92s budget was cut, if your library doesn\x92t want it, and won\x92t use it,

not ordering it will save the committee money. If you want to see what the poster looks like, a thumbnail illustration can be found at the CSLP website at

www.highsmith.com/cslp/ on the right hand side of the page.

Please have a staff member at your library complete the Survey Monkey survey by OCTOBER 14. The link to the survey is

If I do not get a response from your library, I am assuming you want the poster and I will place the order for it. I have to place the order for all the free posters, banners and bookmarks that each library

receives each year that are customized with the NJ State Library and NJLA logos by October 16.

Remember that if your library did not submit your summer reading statistics, your library won\x92t get the free posters, bookmarks or banner. The survey being used to collect the statistics is on the summer reading website at www.njsummerreading.org. TODAY, OCTOBER 9 is the deadline to submit your library\x92s summer reading statistics.
