Hi, Susan, I will attempt to send this to the listserv as well but I have not had much luck with that.
Ditto most of Julia's below as well as my favorites and books that went over well with our MS book talks in September.
Dead and the Gone - companion to Life as We Knew it and just as good although more grisly.\xA0 Gone -the kids here love this one.\xA0 I book talked it but haven't read it.\xA0 It's never in. Fun to booktalk.\xA0 All adults disappear which they think is awesome until I tell them the sequel is Hunger.\xA0 They are not doing so well without us. Haha. Knife of Never Letting Go - my number one choice and the sequel is out already
On the lighter side of life: Evolution of\xA0 Calpurnia Tate - I love this one, reading it now and don't want it to end and the cover is gorgeous.
Have fun!\xA0\xA0

We are looking to add some titles to our fall sessions of book-talking to middle school students at a few local schools and welcome suggestions from other librarians. Please reply with any titles that you think are "must-reads" we should include. Thanks! Susan Conlon, Princeton Public Library
