The annual New Directors\x92 Orientation Workshop will be held Wednesday, February 17 and Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the New Jersey State Library.

This two-day workshop will feature essential information for new library directors in New Jersey and will concentrate on the following areas: Library Finance and State Aid, Budgeting and Finance, Library Law, Policy and Procedure Creation and Maintenance, Library Marketing, Library Boards and more. There will also be an overview of services offered by the New Jersey State Library and the Talking Book & Braille Center. This is a great opportunity for new directors to learn the basics about their positions and to network with State Library personnel, other library professionals and new library directors from around the state.
