My name is Michael Anthony Steele and I am an author and screenwriter based in Dallas, Texas. I write for several major entertainment and educational properties from Barney & Friends to the novelization of the recent film, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. And, when time permits, I enjoy giving presentations to schools and libraries! I'm currently booking engagements and wish to inform you of my availability and the possible advantages of using me for one of your libraries' next Author Visits.

One advantage is my experience with such a wide variety of characters, brands, and media. My visits require very little preparation on the part of the librarians because, most likely, the kids are fans of one or more of the properties for which I've written:

Also, my talk is about more than just writing! My life's journey has given me unique experience and the ability to share behind-the-scenes knowledge, tell stories, and answer questions about the film and television industry.
