-----Original Message----- From: NJ-PUB-LIBS [mailto:vrosch@PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, February 01, 2010 4:52 PM To: Victoria Rosch Subject: NJ-PUB-LIBS Message - Opportunity for your library to participate in a grant application requesting free PCs, expanded broadband, training and program funding for your library due February 8, 2010 at 12 noon Importance: High
Dear Library Director,
NJSL is applying for funding under the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) to expand resources to the unemployed and underemployed as well as helping small business creation and growth through the public libraries of New Jersey. Through receipt of this grant, NJSL hopes to be able to provide all public libraries access to increased broadband, PCs, staff training and funding for libraries to present programs to support economic recovery in New Jersey.
OUR RECEIPT OF THE GRANT, AS WELL AS YOUR LIBRARY\x92S OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE DIRECT BENEFIT DEPENDS UPON OUR RECEIPT OF THIS APPLICATION/SURVEY! The application is in the form of a survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/QL8K7N7. The survey will close February 8, 2010 at 12 noon. Attached is a copy of the survey should you wish to collect your answers ahead of time.
We are sorry that this survey is given on such short notice but the rules for this grant were only publicized a short time ago. Your speedy reply to the survey is greatly appreciated.
If you have general questions, please me at vrosch@PROTECTED or 609.278.2640 ext. 157. Contact Janice Holt at jholt@PROTECTED or 609.278.2640 ext. 129 with any questions about the technical questions on this application and she will refer it to the appropriate staff member.
Best wishes, Victoria
