Hello All You Lovely and Handsome Librarians!

I am working on an article for our little system newsletter about ALA Committees (what they do, how to get on them, etc.) and conference tips. I know that there about 10,000 (give or take a thousand) of you on ALA Committees and I'm hoping you might share your wisdom with me. Nothing detailed is required, maybe your top tips in getting the good ARCs, how you got on your committee, how long you have been an active ALA member, WHY you are an active ALA member, etc.

I will compile all the wisdom and post. Thanks!
