& Video Festival

HOW TO SUBMIT FILMS:
The Princeton Student Film & Video
Festival is seeking films for this 7th annual event. The festival is sponsored
by the Princeton (NJ) Public Library, high school and college students (or
home-schooled, unschooled or not in school) ages 14-24 from any location are
eligible to enter. Please submit by June 21, 2010. No cost to enter. All
entries must be on DVD and accompanied by a completed entry form, available
with guidelines and more information at:

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:
The films selected for the Princeton
Student Film & Video Festival will be screened over 2 nights, Wednesday
July 21 & Thursday July 22, 2010, at the Princeton Public Library, 65
Witherspoon Street, Princeton, New Jersey. The filmmakers with selected films
will be invited to introduce their films and provide post-screening Q&A,
with custom festival t-shirts to all selected filmmakers. All filmmakers,
whether they have films selected or not, and family, friends and anyone
interested in film and filmmaking are invited to attend. The screenings are
intended for a teen and adult audience. Admission is free.
ADDED THIS YEAR:
This year a selection of films from the Princeton
Student Film & Video Festival will also
screen at Artist Visions Film Festival, a new, first-year festival in nearby Lambertville, New Jersey,
on July 22 & 24, 2010. They are seeking to also show original short films
from students in Hunterdon County, NJ and Bucks County, PA. They are suggesting
an additional theme that is open to all festival entrants: “Where
I’m From” to show local culture and community and landscape about
the student filmmaker’s life and where they live. Filmmakers are also
free to submit in other genres too, please read our entry form and guidelines
for more details. All films for consideration (for both events) should be
submitted to the attention of “Princeton Student Film & Video
Festival”.
