Has anyone tried alternatives to the preschool computers
sold by AWE? If so, do you use your own computers with
age-appropriate games installed and locked? Or have you found an
alternate source for pre-loaded preschool computer experiences? What do
you do for the little ones?
We’d rather not have the preschoolers online, but do
want to offer a computing experience for the little ones. We have had AWE
computers for 3 years and have been moderately satisfied. We just wonder if
there might be a cheaper solution to this desire.
Please feel free to answer off list. I can post the results
if others are interested.

p.s. Priscilla, can you post this to the CSS listserv. I can’t
find it…
Thanks,
Jan
