Dear Library Colleagues:

As you know, the state budget was signed yesterday by Governor Christie. We still have not seen the final budget in writing and probably will not see it until the end of the week. Please know that interlibrary loan, delivery and databases will not be shut off today. If any of these services are to be terminated, we will let you know in advance of the termination date. We are having a group of librarians from diverse libraries come in next Tuesday to make recommendations about how the statewide services money we are given for FY2011 should be spent. This group will also plan for the maintenance of services should there be future funding cuts. We will be in touch immediately after, and I will be doing a webinar on July 7 from 11:30-12:30.
