Hi Susan! So glad you sent this! I passed it along to my husband, and we met for dinner and came on over. It was a lot of fun! Rich used to do experiments for his cub scouts, but never had this kind of equipment. Probably a good thing considering their ADD level and the joys of liquid nitrogen --
Thanks again!

PRINCETON PUBLIC LIBRARY HOSTS SPECIAL FRIDAY NIGHT SCIENCE CAF\xC9 WITH DAVE MAIULLO OCT. 1
Science celebrity David Maiullo, host of the upcoming National Geographic Network television program \x93Humanly Impossible,\x94 is the headliner at Princeton Public Library\x92s first Science Caf\xE9, an entertaining evening geared toward teens and adults on Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. The interactive program is designed to demystify science, emphasizing the surprising and the unexpected.
\x93This is a fun evening in the library that we are hoping will be the first in a series,\x94 says Teen Services Librarian Susan Conlon. \x93It\x92s a new way of approaching science, offering a way for people to interact with scientists on a variety of topics. Dave is a showman. He takes concepts people don\x92t always understand and makes them exciting with his live demonstrations. The show is designed to be active, dynamic, and a lot of fun.\x94
Maiullo, physics support specialist at Rutgers University\x92s Department of Physics and Astronomy, is the co-author of the book \x93A Demo a Day: A Year of Physics Demonstrations.\x94 He received a Distinguished Service Citation in 2009 from the American Association of Physics Teachers.
Refreshments will be served in Dispensa Caf\xE9 in the library following the show. Admission is free.
The Princeton Public Library is located at 65 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, NJ.
