Bummer about the posters! Didn’t we try to have that artist blackballed a few years back, when s/he did the little ring-tailed rodent and the freaky manga kids?  Sorry, but my teens hated those, way too young!  Bring back the Creature Feature artist!

Hi Everyone,

The 2011 Summer Reading manuals for the children, teens and adults  and Upstart incentives catalogs are being sent out to all public libraries through Velocity.

They should arrive in the next  few weeks. For the second year, a DVD has replaced the CD with the graphics. You don’t have to order anything from Upstart, but be aware that the first deadline to order prizes is December 1, for a March 1, 2011 delivery.  You may order by phone, fax or online. Shipping is again free, courtesy of the Collaborative Summer Library Program. You can also go to the CSLP website and order from Upstart from there as well. I also want to let you know that there is a typo in the Children’s Manual on page 83 Under books to share – De Colores… “La ganja / The Farm”

It should read “La Granja” meaning “farm” with an “r”.
