Please excuse the cross-posting -- Attending the NJASL Conference this weekend? I hope you'll join us on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. for "Get with the Program: Schools and Public Libraries Working Together," sponsored by the Young Adult Section of NJLA. Some of our very own NJ librarians and teachers will be sharing the secrets of how they worked together to create successful programs and tips for how you can implement their ideas. Plus, there will be a discussion of pitfalls and other issues of working together. In tough economic times, there is nothing better than the cost-sharing of collaborative endeavors! This program is suitable for all educators who work with middle school and/or high school students. Looking forward to seeing you at the Ocean Place Resort and Spa this Friday and Saturday for the New Jersey Association of School Librarians Conference. (In addition to this and other great programs, I hear that there's an awesome author and illustrator alley and, as always, great one-stop holiday shopping for all ages at the NJLA store!)
