I’m looking for titles of novels to be used as outside reading for special ed. students in science classes, that have some tie-in with chemistry or earth science. I’m not looking for science fiction, necessarily, unless it is based in factual information. I just finished reading The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie. That would be ideal, except for the length, looking for something a bit shorter. Any ideas?
