FYI,
The message board on the Statewide Summer Reading Program’s website (www.njsummerreading.org) is now live. The link is in small letters on the top left-hand corner of the main page.
You can use this board to post any suggestions for the 2011 Summer Reading Program. The theme for this summer’s program is “World Culture, World Travel” and the slogans are:
“One World, Many Stories” –Children
“You Are He
re” – Teen
“Novel Destinations” – Adult
The manuals were sent out to all public libraries in November. The shrink-wrapped package contains 3 print manuals – children’s, teen and adult and 3 DVD’s with the artwork and PDF of the manual. An incentives catalog from Upstart was also included for most libraries but I ran out. If you didn’t receive one you can go to the Collaborative Summer Library Program’s website (www.clspreads.org) since our state is a member to access the Upstart catalog. You will need to log on with a password you select to access the website.
Registration for the March summer reading workshops will be posted on the njsummerreading website soon.
