I agree 100%! If you can get other entities to pool funds their Skateboard Science is worth every penny! We shared the cost last summer with the Recreation Dept day camp and the YMCA camp. We had over 300 people come to an outdoor basketball court for the program on a hot August afternoon. It was amazing! We all wanted to try everything the professional skateboarder did.

If you are looking to schedule a science program for your library, I recommend Wondergy - Ken Fink. The shows/workshops are fantastic and the fee is reasonable. For those of you who attended the 2008 NJLA Performers' Showcase, he was the presenter that made ice cream at the conclusion of the event. Wondergy (pronounced wondergee) has presented at West Deptford Free Public Library numerous times for families, kids, and teens. Ken gives his all leaving the audience in awe. And speaking for Ken, he is proud to say that they've never missed or been late to a show in over 8 years and thousands of events.
