My mistake. In my previous email I was in a hurry to respond and didn't read your email clearly. You are looking for Asian Indian not Native American Indian...sorry about that.

Anyway, "Ramya Ramnarayan: Traditions of India" does dance/music. They are through Young Audiences of NJ. They participated in the NJLA Performers' Showcase as well as at our library. They do an absolutely beautiful performance with audience participation. The fee is rather steep $1020 but you may be able to negotiate. www.yanj.org Donna Reckelhoff ...@yanj.org">donn...@yanj.org. We have a patron who has done programs on henna tattoos for us in the past. We are going to ask her if she’ll do this again this summer and would like to make it a whole day of Indian culture with music, food, etc. Can anyone recommend a performer for Indian music?
