I\x92m writing to ask for your help in promoting our upcoming webinar, \x93Social Security 101: What\x92s in it for me?\x94 Our target audience is young people age 18-24, and our goal is to inform them of aspects of the Social Security program they likely don\x92t know. Most people that age don\x92t realize that in addition to handling retirement payments and issuing social security cards, we also run the largest disability insurance program in the world, and provide coverage for families of workers who die. We also often find they\x92re not familiar with the way the social security system works \x96 how it\x92s funded, what a FICA tax is, how they qualify for coverage, etc.

So we plan to do a brief overview of these topics, as well as share some tips on saving and planning for a secure financial future.

The broadcast starts at 3pm ET on Thursday, March 10th and will feature a presentation followed by a live question-and-answer period. We\x92ll be posting the recorded session on our website for folks who miss the live broadcast.

We are currently working on the registration process, Facebook and Twitter posts that we will share with you when they become available.

We appreciate your help in spreading the word by posting webinar information on your website homepage, post articles in your upcoming e-newsletters or through your organization listservs.
