For Public Libraries:
The New Jersey State Parent Information and Resource Center (NJ PIRC), a program of Prevent Child Abuse NJ, is offering a free EPIC Ready, Set, Read facilitator training for schools, organizations, and libraries on March 31st and April 1st from 9am - 4 pm. Ready, Set, Read is an early literacy workshop series designed to help parents develop their children’s early literacy skills.
The training is being held at the Prevent Child Abuse NJ Training room at 103 Church Street, Suite 105, New Brunswick, NJ 08901. I am attaching a brochure about the EPIC Ready, Set, Read program, a flyer for the upcoming training, and a registration form. As there is a limited number of participants that NJ PIRC can train for free, interested sites should contact Meredith Byrnes immediately at 732-246-8060 x 120.
