If your library is interested in the sessions for library staff and/or the public but have not been contacted by the local community college, please send an e-mail to Natasha Peter at npeter@PROTECTED. Each library will not have the opportunity to host Library Staff training sessions \x96 only 80 of these sessions will be scheduled across the state. Therefore, please make sure to register for sessions at libraries in your area if you or your staff is interested.

*Also, it is not a requirement to attend or schedule a Library Staff training prior to scheduling the Basic Job Readiness Computer Skills trainings for library patrons.

MARKETING The Marketing team has been working diligently on the NJWorks BTOP campaign. The new billboard is currently up on Route 29 in Trenton. Also, interior and exterior signs are up on all 243 NJ Transit buses. So look out for these signs!

Marketing kits will be sent to all public libraries across the state, including posters, bookmarks, and postcards to advertise services and training sessions.

NJWorks.org is up and running! This website will be the website available to the public showcasing all of the BTOP resources and tools, as well as all of the BTOP public training sessions. Send your customers to this website for an overview of everything that this project is offering to the public!

COMING SOON

Access to Frost & Sullivan market research reports will be available at NJ public libraries this month, only through JerseyClicks.org (within the public library or remotely with a NJ public library card).

Gale Career Transitions has recently been purchased using BTOP grant funds. This resource will be available to all NJ public libraries starting July 2011. Training for library staff will be available \x96 dates TBD.

NJN\x92s Workforce Learning Link will be available to NJ public libraries this month through JerseyClicks.org and a link will be provided on the BTOP website.
