Hi Sharon
Not to be a pain in the neck about Evanced Solutions Summer Reading but is there anyone who could/would do a free one-on-one training session in this half of Jersey...South Jersey...somewhere south of Trenton?  Anything and everything seems to always be north of the Mason-Dixon line :-)
Diane

Evanced Summer Reader In-Person Training Sessions Offered (And New Webinars Added Just for NJ Librarians)

For the second year, The New Jersey State Library has licensed software from Evanced Solutions (http://www.evancedsolutions.com) as part of its three-year contract to provide all NJ public libraries with free access to Evanced Solutions “Summer Reader” online summer reading registration software.

The State Library is offering free one-on-one training sessions by librarians for librarians to help you set up your libraries to use Evanced Summer Reader for your 2011 summer reading program in your library. The space at both libraries is limited so sign-up early!

Two sessions will be held at Monroe Public Library (Middlesex County) on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 10:30 am - 12 pm and 1:30 pm – 3 pm.  Space is limited to 15 attendees. To sign up to attend the training at Monroe, go to http://tinyurl.com/6fh78q5.   If you have any questions, please contact Lynnette Fucci, at ...@monroetwplibrary.org">lfu...@monroetwplibrary.org

Woodbridge Public Library will be holding two sessions on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 1 pm- 2:30 pm or 3 pm – 4:30 pm. Woodbridge Public Library’s computer room has Wi-Fi and can accommodate 15 people for each session – 6 people at permanent computer stations, and  9 additional people if you bring your own laptop. Please select computer station or laptop when you sign up.

To sign up for training at Woodbridge Public Library please e-mail Susan Fichtelberg at ...@woodbridgelibrary.org">sfic...@woodbridgelibrary.org or call 732-634-4450 ext. 7141.

Any person interested in attending one of these one-on-one sessions needs to sign-up with Evanced Solutions in advance at http://www.evancedsolutions.com/njsrform.asp to have Evanced install the program for your library on Evanced’s server ahead of time before you attend the session. After you sign up with Evanced, you will receive a link and password from Evanced to access the website so you can set up your library’s program during the training session.

If your library has previously set up a Summer Reading site already, the site still works and you can use your old one. You don’t have to re-register for the program.  If you do not remember your link, passwords, etc. e-mail Evanced Support at ...@evancedsolutions.com">Supp...@evancedsolutions.com

Evanced Solutions will also be offering two Webinar training sessions for NJ library staff throughout the state. The basic one is 201 - Summer Reader Day-to-Day Staff Management and will be held on April 4, at 10 am. To register go to https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/342434731
The more advanced program for staff who will be administering the program is 301 - Summer Reader Software Set Up and Administration and will be held on April 7 at 2 pm. To register go to https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/300605011

For anyone unable to attend the in-person, one-on-one sessions, or the Webinars just for NJ librarians, Evanced Solutions also offers free, weekly, live webinars for anyone across the US. If you want to try out the product on your own, a schedule is available at http://host.evanced.info/lib/eventcalendar.asp
