As the 2010 Census figures are now available by municipality (attached), the PCSA based on 2010 data and paid around October 1, 2011 will be based on this new data.

Please note that even if the population for a municipality changed, it does not necessarily mean that you will receive substantially more or less money than you received in 2010. As you can see from the attached example, there are many variables that contribute to the amount awarded to each library.

Please also note that PCSA will be calculated using the 2010 Census for the next 10 years, and no census-based adjustment will be made for PCSA paid in 2010. Should there be any certified recalculation of the Census data for your municipality, please notify me.
