The American Library Association-Allied Professionals' Association is sponsoring the National Library Workers' Day Star competition (see: http://ala-apa.org/nlwd/?page_id=209).
In their publicity for this event they say:
"Let Everyone know about your stellar library staff!
Nominations may come from library users, students, children, colleagues, faculty, management."
Right now New Jersey has 9 "Stars". Come on, we can do better than that!!!

ed above, and fill out a nomination form. It only takes a few minutes.
