Dear Colleagues,

Instead of reconvening a statewide budget task force in July as we did last year once we got the State budget news, the NJ State Library will conduct an informational webinar at 10 a.m. on July 12 with State Librarian Norma Blake and CFO Sheri Shafer on state and federal budgets affecting statewide library projects and services.

Due to the complicated nature of the budgets, especially in the federal funding that is pulled from three budget years at a time, we ask that you review the budget pages on our website www.njstatelib.org under the Office of State Librarian by July 8 and email your questions to ...@njstatelib.org">ssha...@njstatelib.org with a cc to ...@njstatelib.org">nb l...@njstatelib.org.  This way we can research any answers before the webinar and incorporate answers to the questions in the presentation.

If there is time at the end of the presentation, we will take additional questions. Questions which are not answered at that time will be included in the archived webinar that will be made available on the NJSL website.  We encourage everyone in the field to join us for the budget webinar.
