We had Rick for the past 2 years and he is phenomenal. He traveled wide and far for his butterflies. He is very professional, easy to work with and affordable. His butterfly program is both educational and inspiring. Highly recommended.

Adding to this, we had Rick at West Deptford Free Public Library for a family event that included preschoolers and all went well.  The children and adults were fascinated.  Rick's easy-going manner and the light, fluttering butterflies kept everyone, even the tiniest ones, mesmerized.  Rick was also a participant in the 2009 NJLA Performers' Showcase.  Highly recommended and his fee is without a doubt affordable.

Hi all,

  We just had Rick Mikula "That Butterfly Guy," and he was FABULOUS!  He brought some live butterflies and lots of framed dead ones.  NOTE: None of his butterflies were captured for preserving.  He has a butterfly farm in Pennsylvania and when the butterflies die a natural death, he preserves them.  He has a "butterfly cage" made of netting and embroidery hoops for the live butterflies.  He's funny, keeps the kids' attention, and was here \xBD beyond the end of the show answering questions as he cleaned up.

   Just an FYI, he's for grammar school-aged children-not preschoolers.

   He was the BEST performer I've had in a couple of years, and only $185 for an hour long show.
