Do you consider yourself motivated, organized, innovative, and hard-working?  Do you have remarkable ideas about programs and webinars that need to be offered to CSS members at the NJLA conference and at other locations throughout New Jersey?  The CSS Executive Board is a small group of leaders whose ideas can change our profession. Consider running for a position on the 2012/2013 CSS Executive Board.  The following positions are currently open for the 2012-2013 election:

Vice President/President Elect (1 year as Vice President, 2nd year as President, 3rd year as Past-President)

The first vice-president/president-elect shall act as program chair for the Section; shall perform the duties of the president in the president's absence; and shall represent the Section at NJLA
Conference Committee meetings. Term of office: One year as vice-president and the succeeding year as president. There must be a minimum of 2 candidates running for this position. The winner of the most votes is elected to this position.  The candidate with the next highest number of votes becomes the 2nd Vice President.

Secretary/Treasurer
The Secretary/Treasurer shall keep the minutes of all membership and Executive Board meetings; shall give notice of all meetings and assume other duties as assigned, shall keep accurate financial records; shall submit bills and receipts to the NJLA treasurer; shall prepare reports for CSS Executive Board and membership meetings; and shall act as liaison to the NJLA treasurer with regard to Section financial matters. Term of office: Two years.

Member-at-Large #1

Members-at-large must attend a minimum of four meetings per year; shall participate in the decisions of the Board; shall be responsible for the nomination of the CSS Executive Board slate; and shall act as official liaisons to the NJLA Public Policy Committee. Term of office: Two years.
