New Feature:

As a follow-up to an inquiry by a parent experiencing economic hardship and in need of resources/assistance with purchasing x-mas gifts this holiday season, the following feature below was developed and posted on various website pages.  The goal of this new feature is to provide resources for those in need as well as facilitate opportunities for charitable giving, volunteerism, parent modeling and community building activities by NJ Parent Link users.

Enter "goods" in Search Now for listing of agencies that provide needed children's items. 
Family Stores (Salvation Army Thrift Stores) http://www.satruck.org/donate-goods
Enter "zip code" to donate to or locate a Family Store.
Goodwill Stores (Goodwill Industries International) http://locator.goodwill.org/
Enter "zip code" to find a Goodwill store or donation site near you. 
Toys for Tots (Marine Toys for Tots Foundation) http://www.toysfortots.org/request_toys/toys.asp
Enter "NJ" in Search. Follow prompts to request toys or locate toy drop-off sites in your community.
