A patron came in with a book that she remembers reading from
her childhood (she read the book in the 70’s.) The book was about
two girls, who may or may not have been sisters, who were shipwrecked with one
or two other kids that were younger than the girls. While they were
shipwrecked they had to take care of themselves and the other kids until they
were rescued (which they were).
The above description is all she remembers, other than
really liking the book. I’m hoping this book sounds
familiar to one of the listserv’s subscribers.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me (and her!)
Happy Holidays,
Jennie Ferraro
