Dear Colleagues,

Grant Guidelines and Grant Workshops are Available

The New Jersey Historical Commission is pleased to announce the release of its FY2013 Grant Guidelines for Project Grants and Minigrants. To view these guidelines, please visit the New Jersey Historical Commission's website or click on this link.

You may now also begin and submit your Declaration of Intent to apply for a Round I Project Grant or Minigrant. All Declarations of Intent must be submitted via the System for Administering Grants Electronically (SAGE), and will be due on August 8, 2012.

The Commission is also offering workshops to help new and returning applicants prepare for the upcoming grant rounds. Two in-person workshops will be held. Both will be scheduled from 10 AM to 12 PM, with registration beginning at 9:30 AM.

We will meet at The Morristown and Morris Township Public Library in Morristown, NJ on July 30, 2012 and at the Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center in Millville, NJ on August 1, 2012. A conference call has also been scheduled for 10 AM to 12 PM on August 3, 2012.

To register for any of these workshops, and for further details, please visit our homepage.

To apply for a grant from the New Jersey Historical Commission, all applicants must be registered with the System for Administering Grants Electronically (SAGE). If you have not already registered, but plan to apply for a grant in this fiscal year, you are encouraged to register now. You can find SAGE online at www.sage.nj.gov. You should receive a validation email within a week of registration. If you do not, please call the Commission at (609) 292-6062 or contact us by email.
