There is a reasonably easy Duct Tape journal in Stick It!: 99 D.I.Y. Duct Tape Projects.  You can probably find a duct tape journal online.  

I bought tie dye journal kits from S&S Worldwide for this summer's program.  If you have any money to spend it was any easy journal craft - the kit has 24 projects for $34.00.
