SUMMARY:

Baker & Taylor Children’s and Teen Services (CATS) invites you to their Winter-Spring 2013 Publisher Presentations on November 14th and 15th at the Somerville Elks Club, 375 Union Avenue, in Bridgewater, NJ. This unique event provides librarians details on forthcoming children's and teen book and AV trends from major and minor publishers and each day wraps with an author/illustrator presentation and book signing.  It gives attendees the opportunity to directly interact with the publishers in an intimate setting, as well as provide librarians a "sneak preview" of new titles ideal for their collections. It’s fun, it’s free of charge, and a continental breakfast and lunch are included. Full details for the event can be found by clicking here.

NEW THIS SEASON - We Believe in Picture Books video opportunity!

Candlewick Press has launched a year-long celebration of picture books, and is featuring one video a day for an entire year on their dedicated website. A representative from Candlewick Press will be on hand both days during our show to record your video if you'd like to participate.  The videos will be short, engaging, informal, and personal, as contributors share what picture books mean to them, why they matter, and recommend their favorites.
