Dear Colleagues,

 

Gale has finished creating URLs for their databases specific to each library in the state.  They are part of a new support website Gale created just for New Jersey libraries.  This website is located at:

 

http://galesupport.com/njsl/

 

Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about authentication, browser support, configuring firewalls and most importantly Direct Database URLs.  There are also phone numbers for 24x7 support for Gale databases and contacts for the people at Gale we have been working with to bring you these databases.  Please take a moment to look through the support website.  The URLs are specific to each library so please make sure you select the correct library to avoid incorrect collection of database statistics in the future.  If you have any questions, or if you do not see your library in the Direct Database URLs list please contact me. 

 

I just wanted to thank the people at Gale for making this transition as smooth as possible.  Their task was enormous but they accomplished it with great skill.
