REMINDER: REGISTRATION OPEN FOR “GET STORIED”
 
The New Jersey State Library is pleased to announce that Michael Margolis, founder of GetStoried (www.getstoried.com), will be presenting a full day session on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Sheraton in Eatontown, NJ, on how to convey the importance of the work that we do in our libraries to others, such as customers, trustees, friends and elected officials. He spoke to a standing room only crowd at the American Library Association Annual Conference this past summer and has also worked with both the California and Pennsylvania state libraries. For the past few years GetStoried has been investigating what the role and value of libraries in the 21st century is and has been deeply invested in framing this important story at the state and national levels. This program will support the statewide strategic plan goal of communicating the value of libraries.
