The New Jersey State Library in partnership with the New Jersey Library Trustee Association and the New Jersey Library Association is proud to present our 9^th Trustee Institute.

DATE:  Saturday, September 13th, 2014
PLACE: Sheraton Eatontown
TIME: 8:30 – 4:00

The 2014 Trustee Institute will feature a keynote address, eight (8) breakout sessions on a variety of trustee-related topics, and more.  The conference is held every two years, and is part of our goal to train trustees to be knowledgeable about their responsibilities, and to help them understand core competencies to improve their skills as trustees and therefore better advocate for their library. The last Trustee Institute was attended by over 200 library trustees.

Registration will take place online on the NJ State Library’s website. We will notify you in the late spring of 2014, when it is time to register.

Further information will be forthcoming.  There is something for every trustee, both new and experienced, at the Trustee Institute!

Note:  Attendance of the Trustee Institute satisfies N.J.A.C. 15:21-2.3 (a)(2) Trustee Education Requirement.
