Of course, sorry (not sorry!) for any cross-promotion for this fantastic event coming up this week!

Join your colleagues online at The NJLA Commons this Wednesday, December 11 at 10:30 a.m. for a rousing discussion of advocacy and libraries with John Chrastka and Patrick Sweeney from EveryLibrary!

Next week, NJLA is launching a brand new series of virtual keynotes, featuring some of the most well-known and coolest names in our profession. As an exclusive member benefit, participation is completely free! If you are not an NJLA member, you can quickly and easily access a new membership or membership renewal form at http://njla.org/content/join- us. Join today, and then register for the very first of our free webinars!
Current NJLA members are welcome to register right now at http://njla.org/content/njla- commons-virtual-keyonte. Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. You will also receive a link to the webinar in your email.

Wednesday, December 11, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
For NJLA members only. Cost: FREE
Space is limited; register today!

Join John Chrastka and Patrick Sweeney from EveryLibrary to learn about ways to maximize your visibility in the community and new ways to frame your day-to-day work. Every budget is a referendum about your library, and your patrons and customers are also voters and constituents of city and county elected leadership. While you may not go out directly to the voters about next year’s budget, the same tools and techniques for running a get-out-the-vote campaign should be put to work for your library with local government.

SAVE THE DATE: On February 12, The NJLA Commons: Virtual Keynote features Trevor Dawes for a discussion of Demonstrating Library Value.
