I'm passing along information about this virtual event hosted by School Library Journal that's an
all-day, free, collection development/professional development virtual conference on YA/teen books—trends, authors, genres. Gayle Forman and Matthew Quick will be keynoting, and many award-winning and popular authors will be hosting live chats throughout the day.
 
SummerTeen: Hot Books for Young Adults is in its third year and has been widely praised. It is free to all and requires absolutely no money or travel.  You can learn more about the day and program at http://www.slj.com/summerteen/
