The info below has been set in motion by the Adult Services Section, but all libraries, and librarians for all age groups, are invited to participate!   Thousands of people zip through the non-profit tents at our county fairs.  Do we have what it takes to make them stop, look, and listen?  To make them remember that their town has a library, and it’s a fun place to visit?  This is an awesome outreach opportunity, and is not county-specific, so if you play well to a crowd, or want to hone your skills, sign up!

The NJLA Reference Section has secured a table at the Middlesex County Fair. The Fair is located at
655 Cranbury Rd, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 and is scheduled from Monday, August 4th-Sunday, August 10th. We need volunteers to sit at the table and promote libraries in NJ. Those that volunteer are encouraged to offer activities and small prizes to help bring people to the table. I will have more information for those that sign up as we get close to the event.
