Registration for the 2015 Summer Reading Workshops is now available on the NJ Summer Reading website. An account on the summer reading website is required in order to register for one of the workshops. Visit www.njsummerreading.org to create an account. Upon successful completion of registration, you may wish to print the confirmation page for your records.


This year the NJLA Summer Reading Committee will be offering four half day workshops covering children’s, teen and adult programs all in one session. Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be offered. All workshops will begin with registration at 9:30 a.m for each session. The morning session will end by 1PM.


***NEW This year! Brown bag lunch in the afternoon***

Is this your first time running a summer reading program?  OR do you have questions you would like to ask experienced librarians about running a summer reading program?  This is your chance! Bring a brown bag lunch and spend the afternoon with committee members and other librarians to ask questions or get more detailed information about their presentations.  The optional afternoon session will end by 3PM.


We ask that registrants bring a program, decorating or craft idea to share with the group.
