Planning for the 2015 Youth Services Forum (YSF) has begun. State Library Youth Services Specialist Sharon Rawlins and YSF Project Manager Emily Moore are in need of volunteers to be part of this year's planning committee. Each year the Youth Services Forum presents a day of hot topics and issues in library services to children & teens - including a keynote speaker and 9 workshop sessions. Volunteer responsibilities include: Participating in 3-4 Conference Calls between Spring and Fall 2015 Identifying topics and presenters to cover at YSF Recruiting speakers and panelists General assistance in putting the day together

Perks include: Waived registration fee Team experience Opportunity to network & meet new colleagues.

Last year about 200 librarians participated. We'd love to make this year another useful and exciting event - with your help. The forum date has not yet been finalized but should be in the beginning of October.
