12:30 pm –Musical warmup with Spook Handy
1:00 to 2:15 pm – Choose an age appropriate storytelling area.
Storytellers Robin Bady and Laura Kaighn
2:15 pm – Snack and stretch
2:30 pm – “Tales and Songs Along the Road” featuring
Spook Handy, said to be a – “Troubadour in the style of Pete Seeger and a messenger of peace, hope and understanding”
Admission $6.00 for all ages.

Morning Workshop 10:30-12:30
Using Storytelling and Interactive Books to Enrich Language Skills
and Support the Common Core Objectives- with Carol Simon Levin, Storyteller/Educator Find out how participatory storytelling and Reader’s Theater using picture books can build enthusiasm and excitement in your classroom and develop strong language and reading skills in students.

Teachers can earn 4 PDC credits when combined with afternoon storytelling performances. Lunch is included in workshop fee. Go to www.ccm.edu News and Events tab to register.
