The State Library has added a new location for library staff to be trained in Mental Health First Aid. This training enables library staff members
to deal calmly and effectively with customers who may be suffering from stress or mental health issues in their lives at no cost to them. Participants will earn a Mental Health First Aid certificate at the end of the two-part program.
New Mental Health First Aid training classes for 2015:
- Monmouth County Library – 125 Symmes Road, Manalapan, NJ 07726 – Tuesday March 24th and Tuesday
March 31st, 9:30 am registration, class 10:00 – 3:00 (must attend both sessions)
The eight-hour Mental Health First Aid certification course will be offered in two four-hour sessions. Lunch will be provided. Space
is limited! There are 25 seats available. Registration will be closed once we meet capacity.
