Watchung Library  hosted a great hero-themed children's program last week.  How interesting could heroes from New Jersey be?   Very interesting, for sure!
 
The Amazing Superheroes of New Jersey
Presented by Walter Choroszewski
(Grades K through 5 - and above!)
The Amazing Superheroes of New Jersey presents people who made history in New Jersey. "Mr. C" had the group's  attention from start to finish with facts, faces, places, and so much more. Hearing and seeing the connections between past and present gave everyone an appreciation of  New Jersey - as well as a desire to visit the sites, and read more about New Jersey’s heroes!  The children were enraptured, as well as the grown-ups. They too wanted to take out books to read more. And Mr Choroszewski, whose photography and creativity have helped so many discover New Jersey, is among the state's amazing heroes.
 
If you still have summer reading program money available, I highly recommend this program.  Walter brings everything, including a 7’ screen.  He even customizes the program poster for your library.  His prices are negotiable.  Not the slightest glow of a smartphone in sight, as both kids and adults enjoyed this program.
