The 10th Annual Princeton Children's Book Festival is happening soon, so mark your calendars! It will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Princeton Public Library located on 65 Witherspoon Street in downtown Princeton, NJ 08542. The event takes place from 11:00 am- 4:00 and you won't want to miss it!
This year 106 of the most acclaimed authors and illustrators will be spending a fun-filled afternoon that celebrates the best of children's literature. This year's unique festival poster was created by Jarrett J. Krosoczka (Platypus Police Squad, Lunch Ladies series) and is inspired by his latest picture book "It's Tough to Lose Your Balloon" which will debut at the festival.
Also joining us will be Aaron Becker, Sophie Blackall,Jen Bryant, Michael Buckley, Lauren Castillo, Bruce Coville, Mike Curato, Jacky Davis and David Soman, Angela Dominguez, Brian Floca, Tad Hills, Gail Carson Levine, E.B. Lewis, Wendy Mass, Patrick McDonnell, Jerry Pinkney, Steve Sheinken, Rosemary Wells and Rita Williams Garcia.
Throughout the afternoon we'll have live musical entertainment and
KidLit TV will be on hand to cover the festivities and live stream the event. jaZam's of Princeton will be selling books on the Plaza.
The Princeton Children's Book Festival is a rain or shine free event and open to all.
