I’m happy to say that the deadline has been extended to submit any teen 2017 summer reading program manual ideas for public library summer reading programs.

Attached you will find a Call of Ideas for the 2017 Teen Summer Reading Manual for the statewide summer reading program in public libraries.  The slogan and theme for 2017 for all age groups is “Build a Better World” which incorporates the ideas of construction, building, technology, ways to make the world a better place, etc. Please share this with your colleagues who work with teens.  Please feel free to submit fully written out ideas as well as quick thoughts that could help spark further ideas.  Remember these programs will be seen and used by many so please help us gather innovative ideas of all types, prices, and so on.  As requested, technology will be integrated through-out and will not host its own chapter, so please keep this in mind as you prepare to submit ideas.  Please send your ideas by October 23, 2015 to: Cheryl Brown, Teen Manual Editor ...@hotmail.com" title="mailto:cher...@hotmail.com Ctrl+Click or tap to follow the link">cher...@hotmail.com and be sure to include your name, institution, city, and state, so that we can acknowledge you in the manual.
