Hello,

By now many of you have seen that the registration for NJLA Annual Conference is now open! One of the programs that has become a tradition at conference is the Brown Bag Lightning Lunch session.

For those who have not attended conference, or this session before, it is an opportunity for you to come and bring your lunch and hear short-and-sweet 10- to 15-minute presentations on a variety of technology topics and trends. It is always informative, a lot of fun, and you really have the opportunity to both network and take a lot back with you after the sessions.

What makes the sessions great however are the people who are willing to step up and present them!

At this time, I would like to open the opportunity to present at the Lightning Lunch to all of you. If you have an interesting topic, website, technology, that you know of (or have heard about) that you are willing to share with everyone for 10 good minutes, we want you!

This is a great opportunity especially for those of you who are looking to gain experience in presenting since it’s likely the shortest presentation you'll ever have to give. It is also an opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues from around the state, which is just as valuable.

If you will be attending conference on Tues (5/17) or Wed (5/18) and would be willing to give a tech talk, please respond to me by email at ...@npl.org">cbec...@npl.org with your name, title ("student" if you are in library school), library your work at (or school you attend if a student), and the topic you would like to present on.
