The NJ Center for the Book’s
The Jersey Trackers and the Imagination Tree Mystery E-Serial
Did you know Charles Dicken published his books in serial form? His books appeared over
a period of many weeks or months. Eager readers had to wait impatiently for the next installment
to find out what happened next.
The NJ Center for the Book’s
Jersey Trackers and the Imagination Tree Mystery is just like
Dickens’ stories! Each of the eight chapters in this e-serialized story will be posted once a week
on Thursdays on their website. Each exciting chapter is set in a different location in NJ.
You will probably recognize many of the landmarks referenced by each chapter’s NJ author or illustrator.
You are missing out if you are not reading this fun and entertaining mystery-adventure that
will appeal to readers of all ages!

Our main characters are a children’s librarian and his book club,
consisting of six curious, inventive and adventurous young readers named
THE JERSEY TRACKERS. The Trackers travel around the state in a
bookmobile, stopping at each location to search for clues and signs that
help solve a mystery.
