Hello, School Librarians,


You may or may not be aware that all the public libraries in NJ are part of the national Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP, www.cslpreads.org). CSLP is a consortium of states working together to provide high-quality summer reading program materials for children, teens, and adults at the lowest cost possible for their public libraries. Its members help to develop summer reading manuals full of fun, inclusive programming and promotional ideas and diverse booklists for all ages.

 

We have a number of committees, including a School Outreach Ad Hoc Committee. We are hoping to increase awareness of our program with schools in the state and find out what summer reading programming you are doing. We've created a short survey with some essential questions and we'd love your input. 

 

Please distribute this survey far and wide to any and all of your school contacts. Your assistance in getting the word out is much appreciated. If you have any questions about the survey and the committee’s work, please email the chair of the committee or me directly.

The deadline to complete the survey is Sept. 30.
