Hello all,

 

The Cape May County Library is seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, motivated person to work as a part of our Children’s Department team; bringing materials, programs, and services to young people and the adults that care about them. Children’s librarians provide programming, collection development, reader’s advisory, advocacy, and homework help for children. This position will include a focus on outreach to schools, daycares, and our home-schooled population. An existing knowledge of children’s literature and resources is extremely important as is an abiding interest in and liking for young people and the ability to work with an energetic team. Experience with programming for children is highly desirable.
